Chef & Founder- Yisha S.
Born in Dali, Yunnan China. Yisha flew to Boston to pursue education at a very young age. She quickly realized how the absence of hometown food has impacted her well-being in many ways. Especially during her early study days in the western world.
Yisha believes with any type of culture, introducing the food cuisine serves as a gateway. South of the Clouds is founded to bring you authenticity & all natural ingredients to form Yunnan Rice Noodles that you will crave indefinitely after the first sip.

还珠格格向往的彩云之南，终于降临波士顿
小時候，活動範圍僅限於以家為中心的一方小天地，電視機成為了窺探世界的窗口。不斷滾動播放的還珠格格，承載了無數人童年最深刻的回憶。
這段回憶中最精彩的部分莫過於逃亡去大理的情節。雲南原本就是擁有神秘色彩的地方，彩雲之南的風情已足夠迷人，小燕子黑白分明的大眼睛裡盛滿對大理的嚮往，更是讓大理一躍成為許多人魂牽夢縈的目的地。
而今，來自大理的老闆娘把雲南最正宗的味道搬進了波士頓。小燕子歷經磨難才得以品嘗的味道，身在異鄉的我們卻觸手可及，簡直是今夏最激動人心的消息了。
這家新開業的彩雲之南主打雲南米線。提到雲南米線，很多人會首先想到過橋米線，但這裡經營的則是另一流派，小鍋米線。店裡使用手工敲制的銅鍋，全部從雲南人肉背回，將雲南菜的獨到風味還原得淋漓盡致。
作為店裡的主打，砂鍋米線可以說是必點項目。一鍋香氣撲鼻的砂鍋端上桌，光是色澤就讓人食指大動。彈軟的米線吸飽香濃的湯汁，入口的每一秒都是幸福的體驗。
砂鍋米線講究的是配菜豐富而不抹去米線本身的光彩。肉末和醬炒燜肉提升了味道的維度，午餐肉、蝦仁和鵪鶉蛋搭配豆芽、胡蘿蔔等蔬菜，在增添口感層次的同時也保證了營養。
信息爆炸的今天，雲南的神秘感逐漸散去，但獨屬於雲南的味道，卻一直像是遙遙掛在彩雲南端的小曲，從未停歇。一碗米線，能不能勾起你心頭對雲南的印記？試試就知道。
